Farplants Sales Ltd, one of the leading suppliers of outdoor plants to garden centers across the UK, has an opportunity for a Night Supervisor to join our highly motivated and professional team at the Farplants Finishing Centre. Our 8000 square metre facility based in Barnham, West Sussex processes and dispatches over 11 million plants per year, all across the U.K.

This critical role will lead a team of operatives to deliver excellence and efficiency in all production and despatch related operations across the evening/night time activities. A good understanding of process will be a huge advantage, but what is even more important is you.

We are looking for a genuine and authentic candidate who can continue the positive, collaborative, and progressive culture that we have, and who will continue to put our people first across the night time activities. It will be key that you will also be able to ensure the safe and effective operation of seasonal and agency staff to meet seasonal demand and KPI’s.

You will be passionate about delivering the very best quality to our customers and will thrive in a collaborative and often complex environment. You will be eager to hit KPI’s and strive towards the overall efficiency of the operation. You won’t be alone. You will be supported by a team of highly skilled colleagues.

Although a night shift role, the hours flex through the year. As you would expect from a seasonal business such as ours, demand is higher in the peak season, and lower in the off peak and shoulder periods. Therefore, during the peak season, the working days will be Sunday-Thursday and will be full night working.

During the lower season, the pattern will change to Monday-Friday, with the working day reflecting more a late shift.

On offer is a competitive salary of £27,500- £32,000 per annum depending on experience – including night time uplift plus 21 days holiday entitlement.

To apply please email your expression of interest to FC.jobs@farplants.co.uk (No agencies or unsolicited CVs from agencies please, they will not be considered).
