Plant orders can now be placed direct from the bench side with brand new trade web portal from Farplants.
Farplants have released their web and mobile friendly portal which enables garden retailers to view stock availability in real time and secure plants instantly.
Through the web shop, UK garden retailers access the full range of over 2000 plant varieties, including their seasonal planted containers. It’s tailored to the needs of the busy plant buyer. No matter the time or location, they can order how and when they want. With the web shop being both mobile and tablet compatible, it is perfect to use straight from the planteria.
The web shop was built entirely in-house by the Farplants development team. Drawing on our extensive horticultural knowledge, the in-house developers designed the portal to perfectly meet the needs of plant buyers. The bespoke built shop uses complex metrics to provide customers with live availability.
Brett Avery, Farplants Managing Director, is delighted with the project and the benefits it will bring to their customers.
“We understand that plant buyers have many demands on their time. We have listened to their requests and built a user-friendly portal to act as a vital tool for managing their plant orders.
Having the project built 100% in-house has meant we have had full control and can distil the years of horticultural knowledge into a simple to use tool. It has been fantastic working on the project and seeing it transform from initial drawings to a fully functional portal.
At Farplants, we are continually focused on innovation and I am sure this latest development will be a huge benefit for our customers.”
